自主研发创新、企业技术能力与全要素生产率提升 ——基于门槛效应的研究

Independent R&D Innovation, Enterprise′s Technological Capability and TFP #br# ——Research Based on Threshold Effect

摘要: 针对中国大中型工业企业自主研发创新面临的技术进步困境与技术门槛特征,从技术能力视角出发,构建自主研发创新驱动全要素生产率(Total Factor Productivity,TFP)提升的面板门槛模型,考察了自主研发创新过程中不同阶段技术能力的门槛效应,明晰了自主研发创新与TFP之间的关系。研究结果显示:大中型工业企业自主研发创新驱动TFP提升存在明显的双重门槛效应,无论从知识学习能力、知识产出能力还是成果转换能力来看,随着技术能力水平的提高,企业自主研发创新对TFP的作用由不显著最终转变为正向显著。进一步地,比较了不同技术能力的影响效果:现阶段,知识产出能力的积极影响最强,其次是知识学习能力,而作用最弱的是成果转化能力。同时,技术能力在时间与空间上表现出异质性。

Abstract:  Aiming at the technological advancement difficulties and technical thresholds faced by China′s large and medium-sized industrial companies in their own R&D innovation and from the perspective of technical capabilities of enterprises, threshold model is constructed, in which independent R&D innovation drives the promotion of total factorial productivity(TFP), the threshold effect of technical capabilities in different steps of independent R&D innovation is examined, and also the relationship between independent R&D innovation and TFP is clarified. Results show that there are obvious double threshold effects where independent R&D innovation of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises drives TFP. With improving technical capabilities, the effect of independent R&D innovation on the promotion of TFP turns positively significant, whether from the knowledge learning capacity, the knowledge output capacity or the conversion capacity. What′s more, the positive impact of knowledge output capability is the strongest, followed by knowledge learning capability, and the conversion capacity is the weakest. At the same time, technical capabilities show heterogeneity in time and space.
