摘要： 时事小说是中国小说史上不可忽略的历史存在,其快速成书是古代小说史上的空前现象。小说家强烈的参与时政意识,民众激愤感情的迸发,商业利益驱动,邸报的流行等四个方面是时事小说快速问世的大致原因。

Abstract: The article analyses the four reasons for which the current event novels are quickly published: the writer’s desire to participate in politics; the masses’ intention to express anger; the intention to make personal profity; and the wider distribution of official newspapers.
