Abstract: Starting with the basic concept of ARPU of telecommunication enterprises, this paper thoroughly analyzes the impact of ARPU on the profit made by both the fixed network enterprise and mobile network enterprise, illustrates the alteration between ARPU and the number of subscribers when the total profit remains unchanged, and also points out some matters to which attention should be paid when ARPU is used to make comparative analyses.
