Abstract: The medium-length novel “Maize” written by Mr. Bi Fei-yu reveals the terrible dissimilation caused by power to the human nature by telling the destiny of a countrywoman that is closely connected with the gain and loss of power and the theme of the novelette is of aesthetic significance of farsightedness.
