Abstract: With the global communication, there are more and more interaction between Chinese culture and Euro-American culture. Those youth with good educational background are more likely to be influenced by foreign cultures. They try to clear up those unreasonable and inappropriate ideas of their own culture, borrow and absorb those more reasonable and more suitable ones to reestablish their own culture. Because of the imbalance of cultural transmission as
a result of imbalanced economic strength, the status of absorbing foreign cultures is not equal. In spite of this, traditional cultures root in their hearts, and will reflect themselves subconsciously. All these seem to show that in the context of global communication, traditional and ethic cultures always take up an important position; therefore , those open-minded youth are only on the edge of foreign cultures.
