Abstract: Giving cross-college minor courses is an innovation of education system which breaks the boarder between different schools, realizes education resource sharing, optimizes the course system, reforms the education management system, updates the way of cultivating talented people and cultivates more quality and inter-disciplinary talents. Beijing university of Posts and Telecommunications has been giving Telecommunication Engineering minor course to the universities in Xueyuan Road District for many years and cultivated a group of quality inter-disciplinary talents for the society. In this regard, this makes effective exploration and practice for the education system revolution. This essay is based on this example, introduces relevant experiences, and proposes some improvement in order to solve the problem existing now.
