Abstract: As a correct reflection of the general law of social development, the historical viewpoint of Marxism must be applied to deal with the challenges in many new areas in the networkbased age . These topics include mode of production, mode of communication, the value and comprehensive development of individual persons and ethics in the networkbased culture . It is very important to study and probe the new subjects diligently to contribute to the development of Marxist philosophy.
