Abstract: The function ,and the necessity and difficulty of the reform of《University Physics》course for engineering students is analyzed in this article. The content the 《University Physics》course should contain is discussed. The elementary idea with concrete cases for the content reform of this course in BUPT and several programs for 《University Physics》teaching at different levels are introduced.
