Abstract: This article faced with the widespread short messages of mobile telephone at present, analyses the cause why the short message is spread everywhere , its harmful effects on the society from the following phenomena: rubbish information, the false swindling information, reactive political information harmful to national security, obscene sex information , the destructive information , intimidation, violence, terror information and the information of abetment to crime and puts forward the counter measure from the following four aspects the operation of mobile telephone companies, government administration and mobile telephone manufacturer and mobile telephone user•
