Abstract: This article briefly introduces the basic theory and research of Data Mining, a promising new frontier technique. The authors especially discuss Data Mining’s idiographic applications and its business value in telecom field. Furthermore, the article studies the structure model of the telecom enterprise’s information system, which includes the application of Data Mining. In the end, the authors try to apply it to the study of telecom marketing.
