Abstract: The appearance and development of network has caused great “shock” in today’s society. It leads to great changes in the mode of production, the patterns of thinking and the ways of working and study in human society. These changes are evident in education. The paper systematically discusses the opportunity and challenge, and gives a thorough introduction to the new ways of ideological and political education of college students in network-based environment.
