Abstract: This paper gives a survey of the history of preparatory education both home and abroad. The preparatory education of our country is classified into two categories: preparatory education in Mainland China and preparatory education in Hong Kong, and both will be discussed in detail. Based on the discussion, this paper generalizes the commonness and specialty of different preparatory education systems.
