Abstract:  In the information age, the value of personal information is increasingly prominent However, the violation of personal information is also increasing, which makes the establishment of personal information right become inevitable There has been no controversy about regarding personal information right as a private right at present, but it is still difficult to reach a consensus on the definition of the private right Taking personal information right as a personality is a mainstream theory currently The theory emphasizes the dominant position of the person, which seems to help protect the interests of personal information But in essence, this theory not only leads to the collapse of traditional theory, but also has many practical problems that are difficult to solve As a result, it is necessary to redefine the private right of personal information right From the existing rights system and the interests shown in personal information, taking personal information right as a property right is a scientific move
