Abstract: Regarding the measuring of regional information gap in China, by method of analytic hierarchy process (AHP), this article analyzes 4 aspects of the 10 indicators, such as network access, the use of network capacity, the content of network applications and network external environment in China’s 15 provinces and cities From information and communication technology (ICT) level composite index in China’s provinces and the information gap composite index, an empirical research is conducted on the regional information gap in China The results show that China’s regional information gap is obvious The study method can vertically and horizontally compare China’s regional information gap, which can evaluate the success and failure of past ICT development policy and instruct future work
