Abstract: The solution to electronic money is the key to the electronic payment solution. This paper analyzes the three representative electronic money solutions in the developed countries. Because the electronic payment has started relatively late in China, it must benefit by the experience of other advanced countries and avoid their problems. The SET protocol is unsuitable for China s conditions. The conclusions: the development of micropayment and small-sum payment is a top priority in China.
