Abstract: A reexamination of the disparity of per-capita telecommunication consumption level between different areas
An impugnation against the disparity of telecommunication consumption level between different areas based on current statistics is raised in this paper.Obviously,the disparity shown is inaccurate. This paper takes the inter-regional price disparity into consideration and defines the concept of inter-regional price disparity index. Putting this index into the measure of the disparity of telecommunication consumption level between different areas, this paper throws light on the real disparity. The inter-regional price disparity index is accurately counted. At last, the conclusion is drawn that the actual disparity of telecommunication consumption level is less than the nominal one.
