Abstract: In order to improve competitiveness in markets, lower costs and enter international markets, a wave of mergers and acquisition of enterprises is surging in Taiwan region. Following the integration of financial institutions, the emerged financial holding companies have the ability to run complete business and control risks. The mainland s needs for market, capital and scientists and technicians is a great opportunity for enterprises in Taiwan, and the extensive contact is the best choice for both sides.
