Abstract:

Using the method of measuring the contribution degree from the inputs, the manufacturing industry is classified into two types, labor-intensive and capital-intensive From the year of 2002 to the year of 2010, the structure of manufacturing industry showed an obvious characteristic that labor-intensive industry was transforming to capital-intensive industry According to analysis, labor-intensive industrial transformation, the decline in external demand, overcapacity, the decline in labor productivity and government investment policies during financial crisis period are the main reasons for the structural change of manufacturing industry
