Abstract: The harmonious development of telecommunication industry is the foundation on which telecommunication
should make contribution to the harmonious society•The thesis discusses the value of the developmentof telecommuni-
cation in the construction of a harmonious society, analyzes the disharmonious factors in the development of telecom-
munication and illustrates howtelecommunication industrywould do to achieve its harmonious development through de-
veloping its rural service, improving the quality of its service, deleting the unfair competition and reforming the mech-
anism of stimulus•Telecommunication industry should contribute a lot in the process of the harmonious development of
the society•
