Abstract: The harmonious society differs from society’s harmony: the harmonious society is an ideal society model while society’s harmony is its external manifestation. The first characteristic of the harmonious society is its social justice, embodied in the equal and justified relationships among its social members. The State ownership is the harmonious society’s premise and system basis; without it, any discussion on a harmonious society would be unrealistic. The building up of the socialist state ownership has established the premise and basis for constructing the harmonious society and has realized the transformation from its suppositional exploration to realistic pursuit.
