Abstract: Property income will have a profound impact on the income and the disparity between rich and poor. The paper carries out an empirical stuffy on the impact the increase of property income has on the disparity between the urban and rural income disparity. The result shows that property income is not the main factor that leads to the urban and trural income disparity. But in recent years, property income increases greatly, which will inevitably exert influence over the disparity between the rich and the poor. The government should therefore intensify policy designing to gradually reduce the disparity between the rich and the poor as the property income increases.
