Abstract: The implementation of the Government Information Disclosure Act requires the government to disclose information to the public; to fully guarantee the public’s rights to know and to build a serviceoriented government With the development of 3G technologies, mobile media provides a new way for government information issuing, which allows the public to more easily and quickly to understand the government information To clearly understand the instrumental role of mobile media in government information issuing, the advantages of mobile media and the effectiveness of information issuing are analyzed, thus exhibiting its feasibility and significance in government information issuing Meanwhile, some potential problems of using mobile media for this kind of information issuing are investigated
