摘要： 要使图书馆的创新服务有实质性的突破，必须借助第三代移动通信（3G）强有力的技术平台。首先阐述了移动图书馆的现状、存在的问题以及3G的特点；然后论述了3G为移动图书馆的快速发展带来的巨大生机及其创造的优势网络环境，证明3G时代移动图书馆创新服务意义深远。

Abstract: The issuance of the 3rd Generation（3G） licenses provides strong support for the development of 3G, which brings great vitality to the service innovation of mobile libraries In this context, this article briefs the statusquo and existing problems mobile libraries as well as the characteristics of 3G Following that the opportunities brought by 3G for innovative services of mobile libraries are described, together with a depiction of 3G’s strength in network environment
