After a decade of pilot project, the graduation thesis/project work, as a significant link of practice teaching in distance education in China, is also transferred to the Internet teaching platform It is necessary to consider the reasonableness of its processes, but it is more important to guide students to complete the tasks with instruments With the support of survey data and analysis of all steps of graduation thesis work, a leadbased model management and instruction system for distance education was designed It gradually leads students to finish all the steps with separated subtask within its specific durations.
