Abstract:

The industrial production determines the foreign trade, and the industrial structure determines the foreign trade structure The irrational mode of a country’s foreign trade originates from low level of its industrial structure Therefore, from the perspective of industrial restructuring, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the relationship between the industrial restructuring and foreign trade structural optimization through the establishment of econometric models according to the data from 1992 to 2011 The conclusions are as follows: the industrial structure determines the foreign trade structure and the optimization of foreign trade structure relies on the industrial restructuring; the best solution to the unsustainable development of China’s foreign trade is to vigorously adjust China’s industrial structure, the optimization and upgrading of which can further drive the optimization of foreign trade structure Accordingly, this paper puts forward the corresponding measures of how to promote the optimization and upgrading of foreign trade structure through promoting the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure and then to drive the transformation of foreign trade development mode
