Abstract:

Under the background of energy-saving and emission-reduction in China, telecommunication operators have the needs and difficulties in implementing green management performance assessment In the research, data envelopment analysis (DEA) method is used in performance assessment, which is a very practical way to analyze complex system with multiple inputs and multiple outputs, and its advantages of conducting a more objective assessment and obtaining more abundant results are also well recognized The assessment of telecommunication operators’ green management performance is divided into three parts: comprehensive performance assessment, partial economic performance assessment, and partial environmental performance assessment, in which uncontrollable variable parameter is introduced A practical assessment indicator system is designed based on energy-saving and emission-reduction oriented operation practice of telecommunication operators, which could be applied in DEA-based green management performance assessment model
