Abstract:

The synergetic theory is a trans-disciplinary science which crosses natural and social science The major theme in research of the synergetic theory is that how sub-systems in a system create a macro space structure, time structure or functional structure by competition and cooperation The basic principles of the synergetic theory are applied to analyze the influence of intellectual property and technical standard on the development of information and communications technology (ICT) industry The results show that the synergistic mechanism has a positive effect on ICT industry, and a novel academic view and analytical frame to study on the relations among intellectual property, technical standard and industry competition is provided
