Abstract: As executors and instructors of ideological and political education in university network community, the counselors’ using habits towards network community definitely have an impact on the education. Through the questionnaire survey, counselors’ using habits towards Beiyouren (BYR) network community are investigated. The results of logistic regression analysis show that counselors’ update frequency of their homepages, notification of important affairs and ideological guidance will have a significant effect on ideological and political education in network community.
