Abstract: Rural informatization in Yunnan can promote local modernization of agriculture, improve rural residents′ income, and promote harmonious development of society In recent years, Yunnan has implemented a series of rural informatization projects, especially in infrastructure construction But the effect hasn′t met expectations Based on the technology acceptance model (TAM), perceived cost and individual innovation are introduced as new external variables The results show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have significant impact on rural informatization application in Yunnan Meanwhile, perceived cost and individual innovation also have a certain impact on the application
