Abstract: Industrial design, which concerns the design technology and design method, is receiving new recognition and universal interest because it is playing a more important role in the development of Chinese economy. The rapid growth of information industry brings about a tremendous need for professional designers of information products. The information products contain not only the hardware equipment that has the actually outward shape, but also the multimedia software that has the human computer interface. Therefore, the industrial design in information industry has its special poperties.
