Abstract: This article introduces a conparative study of the similarities between the poems of the Tang & Song Dynasties in China and those of England in the 18th century , taking the following poems by the English laurel poet Wordsworth and the Chinese ancient poets Cui Hu, Lu You and Zhu Shu-zhen as examples-the Lost Love and the New year s Night , so as to discover the common regularity of conception across the two different cultures.
