Abstract:

WTO dispute settlement mechanism can adjust trade disputes A dynamic game model is

employed to study trade disputes over China’s natural resource export restriction under the

dispute settlement mechanism This new resource-related game is compared with traditional

games of trade remedies Coping strategies include: first, actively utilizing the buffer zone

provided by dispute settlement mechanism to regain pricing power; second, accelerating the

restructuring and upgrading of relevant domestic industries; third, researching WTO’s former

rulings to help win possible lawsuits and introducing protective measures in line with WTO

principles
