Abstract: Criminal law attribute serious infringement of personal information behavior to crime, showing the importance of personal characteristics, economic value and social attributes in personal information Personal information crime legislation is established and optimized through two amendments in mainland China, and meanwhile, as a part of China, Macau has its unique legal culture due to influence by the Portuguese legislation in a long history The Personal Data Protection Law of Macau provides specialized and systematic legal basis in the area of personal information protection Based on comparative research, Chinese mainland could learn lessons of advanced legislative experience from Macau,such as legislation model, regulation method and prosecuting mechanism
