Moderating Effects of Network Competence and Network Spillovers

Abstract:

 Open innovation has attracted widespread attention in technology management research in recent years Network competence and network spillovers are introduced into the field of open innovation, and their moderating role between open innovation and innovation performance are explored 211 BTB high-tech firms are taken as research samples to test the hypothesis and it is found that: ① open innovation has positive effects on innovation performance; ② both network competence and network spillovers moderate the relationship between open innovation and innovation performance These conclusions have important implications for the development and application of open innovation theory
