Abstract: In the new era, the phenomena of privacy infringement have become prevalent in the society, while the criminal protection of privacy in China is still in an inferior position in many aspects For instance, its system construction still has room for improvement, the core legal interests have not been effectively protected yet and the contents of proceeding and penalty are inflexible Meanwhile, effective response has been given to such protection of privacy in the international community Through a comparative analysis of the criminal law of German, Taiwan Province, Mainland China, some approaches and suggestions are investigated for the criminal protection of privacy in China
