Abstract: Based on the World Input-Output Table and the manufacturing industry panel data from the year of 2005 to 2014, the intermediate inputs of different producer services industries to the manufacturing industries and the export technology complexity of manufacturing industries with different technical levels are calculated, and the influencing mechanism of intermediate inputs on the manufacturing export technology complexity is expounded from three aspects: knowledge spillover effect, cost reduction effect and factor reorganization effect, and the panel model is used for empirical testing. The results show that for the manufacturing industry as a whole, intermediate inputs of middle and low level of knowledge-based producer services industries such as cargo transportation, warehousing and postal services industry, and information services industry can promote the manufacturing export technology complexity. And the impact of intermediate inputs of high level of knowledge-based producer services industries such as R&D and other technical services industries on the manufacturing export technology complexity is not significant; the influence of intermediate inputs of different producer services industries on the export technology complexity of manufacturing industries with different technical levels varies significantly.
