Abstract:  With the promotion of foreign direct investment and the improvement elevation of informatization level, supply and demand of the domestic labor market and employment structure have also undergone profound changesBased on this, by using the provincial panel data from 2003 to 2014, the impact of foreign direct investment and informatization level on the employment polarization is empirically studied under the moderating effect of intellectual property protectionIt is found that on the whole, foreign direct investment will promote the employment of medium-skilled labor, but inhibit the employment of high- and low-skilled laborWhat’s more, the improvement of informatization level will change the moderating effect of foreign direct investment on the employment of skilled labor at all levelsAt the same time, intellectual property protection has strengthened the inverse moderating effect of informatization on the relationship between foreign direct investment and employmentThis conclusion has important policy implications for the implementation of all-dimensional opening up and employment priority strategies.
