Abstract: Advancing rural revitalization on all fronts is an important issue and a difficulty in a Chinese path to modernization, and the answer to rural revitalization must be found in the time-space dialogue of rural-urban relationship. Sorting out the historical changes of rural modernization transformation and analyzing the difficulties of rural modernization behind the urban-rural imbalance are very important for exploring the characteristic solutions of a Chinese path to rural modernization. In the new era and on the new journey, advancing rural revitalization on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization must adhere to the path of urban-rural integrated development, promote the reform of systems and institutions through systematic thinking, and support rural revitalization at the institutional level; must promote the construction of spiritual civilization with dialectical thinking and enhance the spiritual power of rural revitalization; must promote the upgrading of the governance system with innovative thinking and enhance the organizational vitality of rural revitalization.
