Abstract: In the new era of integration of technological revolution and legal practice, generative artificial intelligence (AI) applications with advanced technologies have changed the traditional legal services of lawyers and increased citizens’ access to legal services. Along with this, new technologies have driven the emergence of inherent requirements for the improvement and strengthening of lawyers’ professional ethics, such as giving full play to the subjectivity role of “legal people”, improvement of professional skills, instrumental confidentiality obligations, and supervision and management obligations. It is necessary to embed the rational application of artificial intelligence technology and its ethical standards into the professional ethics norms of lawyers to ensure the synchronization of norms and technological development and realize the modernization of lawyers’ legal services.
