Abstract: The paper introduces the development of office automation, emphasizing the core role of knowledge management in the third generation OA. The knowledge management is to be the necessary trend in the organization and integration of information, involved in every aspect in the building of information system. Implementation of knowledge management will further promote the establishment of advanced management concept in the enterprise.
