Abstract:

To accommodate to the fierce competition, telecoms companies imperatively need to construct business process management(BPM)based on service oriented architecture(SOA)to manage and optimize business processesAs to three realization strategies of BPM, that is, business-driven, technology-driven and business and technology-driven, companies should make proper choice according to their business culture, IT infrastructure, strategic plan and other circumstancesOwing to relatively high informatization level, multitudinous businesses, complicated business process and frequent change of business process, it’s reasonable for telecoms companies to choose business and technology-driven strategy to implement BPMTaking the BPM realization in a telecoms company as an example, this paper also analyzes the process of constructing BPM platform
