Exploration on Construction of “High-tech Course” Based on International Talents Training—A Case Study of “Modern Chinese” Online Course

Abstract: To response to the proposal of constructing “high-tech course” and further to improve the online teaching quality of professional courses, taking the course “Modern Chinese” as an example, the construction of “high-tech course” based on the criteria of international talents training is explored. On the basis of clarifying course orientation and teaching objectives, first and foremost, the moral education for international students should be implemented. Next, the multi-modal interactive teaching model is proposed, the teaching resources of multi-modal course are constructed and the teaching methods are designed according to the key teaching points. Finally, the course plans for sustainable construction are made including strengthening the construction of course team, optimizing teaching resources, improving the assessment system and promoting the teaching achievements. The findings will provide reference for the construction of more online professional courses for international students.
