Abstract: In the new era, the people’s demand for high-quality, personalized and diversified cultural life is increasing With the rapid development of information technology, cyberspace has become the main place for the people’s culture production and consumption As the forefront of ideological struggle, the key to whether cyberspace can contribute to strengthening the people’s spiritual strength lies in whether cyber ideology advances in the correct direction led by Marxism By facing the opportunities and challenges of the construction of network ideology in the new era, the causes of the decline of Marxist ideology in cyberspace are explored from the interactive relationship among network subject, network object and network media, and the practical path to strengthening the leading force, cohesion and appeal of Marxist ideology in cyberspace is put forward.
