Abstract:

Based on the development of telecommunications in China, this paper, by using the output-oriented super-efficiency-data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, made empirical study on 31 provinces and cities in order to research on the  telecommunications efficiency. This research found that the overall efficiency in 25 provinces needed to be upgraded, and meanwhile provided some advice for them.  In addition, this paper also tried to analyze the factors influencing telecommunications efficiency, and found that the key to improving telecommunications efficiency is to enhance its interaction with industrial production.
