Rational Connotation and Accomplished Methods of Ecologism in Environmental Law

Abstract:

The relation between human beings and nature is always the nuclear question of human

evolution and social development Human rationalism leads to the scientific and technological

supremacy while liberalism leads to the supreme interests, which make human form

anthropocentrism in ethics And anthropocentrism has also influenced the construction of

philosophy of law and legal system Along with the severer environmental crisis, ecologism

which is derived from the science of ecology rapidly develops in human ethics, philosophy and

other fields, is introduced into environmental law Ecologism in environmental law refers to

a kind of holism concept, which macroscopically guides environmental legislation and regulates

human’s behavior for the sake of realizing harmonious relationship between human and nature

and the sustainable development of ecosystem Ecologism differs from modern anthropocentrism

in the fields of holism tendency, value orientation and the ultimate goal Through the

improvement of the human’s own rule system, ecological environmental law requires human to

adjust their own behavior, coordinate the relationship between mankind and nature, realize the

harmony of human and nature, and realize the stability and sustainable development of

ecosystem
