Abstract:

How to build up quantitative optimal control model to deal with specific engineering project management issues is a difficult but hot point The resource allocation issues in the engineering project are solved quantitatively by using maximum principle and gradient method in the optimal control theory Firstly differential equations for the discrete system of resources configuration model is established; secondly the optimal control performance index function based on project schedule and project cost is defined; finally gradient method is used to calculate resource allocation equations In the practice, the proposed method is validated to deal with resource allocation of machinery in the engineering project The results show that maximum principle can effectively resolve the number issue of resource allocation, and it is also valuable research on using optimal control theory in the project management
