Abstract:

 China’s provincial capital stock from the year of 1978 to 2010 is calculated by using the perpetual inventory method On this basis, the CD-type production function and the data envelopment analysis-Malmquist index are used to estimate the total factor productivity index of inter-provincial level from the year of 1979 to 2010, and the index is divided into two parts: technical efficiency and technological progress index The results show that the practice decision-making of “the transformation of economic development mode” has its theoretical foundation, and how to speed up the exploration of intensive development path will affect the sustained and healthy development of economy
