By sampling important and typical international social media, posts with high communication attention in every kind of sampled social media are filtered and collected to do content mining and statistical analysis, and the features and differences of Chinese cultural image in hot events of international social media are surveyed The spread of Chinese culture in international social media has rich features such as traditional image in terms of construction of cultural image, everyday elements in view of cultural content and interactive context about international cultural relation Furthermore, different social media hot events also have their different emphases Requirements are proposed in the aspects of strengthening and improving international communication of Chinese culture, strengthening the multi-dimensional construction, daily mining and local construction in international social media

Network hatred is not only an emotional experience, but also a living state It is suggested by more and more virtual social phenomenon that network hatred has been dispersing in the new public domain and has become virtual social emotions in the keynote Thus, order construction in the virtual public domain has been exposed to practical obstructions which cannot be evaded As a result of network hatred, network violence, which has no direct conflict of interests, frequently shows up, and network populism-based hierarchical confrontation is triggered, and concurrently, subversive value displacement shows up in network space Tracing to the source, network hatred is closely related to the equality philosophy of network world, the sense of competition in the modern society and the insurmountable practical difficulties Only by such channels as improving public reason of the virtual public domain, moderately satisfying the needs for unbosoming network hatred, constructing network supervision system under inclusive development and correcting value displacement in the virtual public domain, can network hatred be truly decomposed and regularized operation of the virtual public domain be realized

Brand micro blogging is not only the communication platform between enterprises and users, but also a brand emotion port where enterprises can guide micro blogging consumers Based on PAD theory, brand micro blogging emotional coordinates are obtained through artificial coding method, and the emotion is classified into four types by K-means clustering algorithm, that is, relaxing, optimistic, feeling and interactive sentiment It is found that the brand micro blogging with relaxing or interactive sentiment is easier to attract fans than that with optimistic or feeling sentiment Among these, relaxing brand micro blogging can attract more likes, and interactive brand micro blogging can guide more users to participate in the comments Brand micro blogging forwarding number is relatively stable except lottery According to these results, the relaxing and optimistic micro blogging can consolidate both new and old customers better and the interactive micro blogging can enlarge the transmission range of brand information The results have some implications for the different aims of brand micro blogging marketing operation

The impact of Internet on export trade from the perspective of trade relation is analyzed based on the panel data of 29 provinces over the period 2003-2012 in China The inter-regional trade relation spatial weight matrix is developed to evaluate the spillovers of Internet on Intra-regional and Inter-regional trade, and the inter-regional spillovers is further decomposed into forward spillovers and backward spillovers The empirical results show that the Internet industry generates significant spillovers on export, both in the inter-regional and the inter-industry chain There are obvious differences between forward spillover effects and backward spillover effects in Internet industry, and the forward spillover effects and backward spillover effects are significantly positive

Under the background that the current economy has entered a “new normal status”, the implementation of China’s innovation-driven development strategy is related to transformation of economic development pattern and adjustment of economic structure In order to clarify internal determinants of the innovation-driven development, an empirical test is conducted on the effect of institutional factors on innovation-driven economic development in the region based on Chinese provincial panel data model The empirical results show that legal systems, as institutional factors, positively influence innovation-driven development level of the regional economy; even if various influencing factors are controlled on the innovation-driven economic development, conclusions mentioned above are still set up; unanimous conclusions are obtained by various robustness tests Conclusions have important theoretical and policy implications for the enterprises’ innovation incentive behaviors

Coherence is an essential factor in assessing English learners’ writing ability, and using connectives is an important way to achieve coherence To understand how Chinese non-English graduates use common contrastive connectors in argumentative essays, a small corpus (the learner corpus) based on students’ writing assignments is built and Antconc is used to compare the use of common contrastive connectors in this learner corpus with that in an native-speaker corpus (the reference corpus: US argumentative essays, part of LOCNESS) The results indicate that although Chinese learners and native speakers show a similar preference for some types of connectors, the former tend to overuse most of the connectors, especially those acquired earlier in their English learning experience Occasional misuse of some contrastive connectors also exists, as is reflected in a detailed analysis of Chinese learners’ use of “on the other hand” The findings have some implications for the teaching of writing to Chinese learners of English
