Abstract: Facing to the impact and encirclement of modern media technology and mass culture on traditional lit- erature,"whether literature should come to an end for this reason"has gradually become a question, to which great attention has been paid by literary and art circles. The adaptation of literary works into television programs and movies has given a dialectical explanation to the relation between literature and media, and has come to a conclusion that there is mutual action but non-resistance’ relation between them.
