Abstract:

In order to quantify the impact of broadband on economic growth and solve the endogeneity problem between broadband and economic growth, simultaneous equations model which combines  macro output equation and micro supply and demand equation of broadband is constructed, and empirical analysis is made based on the data from the year of 2001—2010 Empirical analysis shows that the rate of broadband penetration each increases by 10%, and the growth rate of national economy will be raised by 0424%
